Recovering from a Surgical Facelift

You may experience some bruising and soreness for a few days following the procedure, but most patients can return to normal activities relatively quickly. It’s best to wait for swelling and bruising to subside before returning to work, typically around 3 weeks. Unlike body surgeries, a facelift only limits full exercise and activity for about 4 weeks. The final results will continue to improve up to 6 months after the treatment with scars continuing to fade until they are barely noticeable.
